Homemade bao bao

Tonight I tried a recipe from Tasty  Vegan Bao buns with pickled veggetables It was quite long to do but really worth it ! My kitchen smells so good right now, all the spices and flavors in this recipe are just wonderful. And making your own bao buns is just so nice ! That is the sort of vegan dinner that doesn't feel vegan at all, you don't miss anything and you feel full and happy ❤ For those of you reading me that are living in Stavanger like me, I recommend you my favourite Asian shop here  Greenpeas . They have always everything you need for any recipe and they are always smiling and helpful. I loooooooove this shop and the people working there !

Paella vegetariana

Today I made a fantastic paella ❤ This version of mine is not just vegetarian, it's vegan and it was de-li-cious !!! I made my own veggeroni and it was a perfect chorizo for this paella ( find the recipe  here ) Otherwise I made this paella with oignon, garlic, red bell pepper, mushrooms, edamame beans and green beans... roasted cashews and veggeroni on the top of it and that was to die for, seriously ❤ Everybody at home loved it. Even my 13 years old daughter who normally doesn't like anything with onions, mushrooms or slightly spicy. I guess the flavours were so nice that she forgot about the things she normally complains about. That was a big win ! And the thing I'm so proud about, I manage to make a beautiful soccarat on this paella. If you don't know what soccarat is check  here . A good paella should have soccarat, every Spanish person know that, now you know it as well. Will definitely make this again !

Testing the "crispy chili tofu" recipe from Bosh

Today I tested the Crispy chili tofu from Bosh This recipe is amazing. If you have time, do test it. The consistence of the tofu is really wonderful and the taste is perfect. Take care not to put too much sriracha in the begin of your recipe because the sauce reduce and the chili taste get stronger 😅 On the side I made a Japanese cabbage salad, and it was just a perfect Saturday night's dinner ! Comment from my 16 years old daughter : "damn good food" Enjoy !
